RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026
Bringing Nature Home
About the project:
This display has been developed for the Royal Horticultural Society as part of their Bringing Nature Home campaign, highlighting the role gardens can play in supporting biodiversity.
The project centres on a simple idea: it is diversity in planting that creates resilient, nature-rich gardens. Surrounding the display, a series of planting zones — woodland, meadow, dry, wetland and productive — demonstrate how different conditions and plant communities can all contribute to supporting wildlife.
At its centre, a timber structure, inspired by terraced housing, provides space for interpretation and interaction. Visitors can explore live biodiversity reporting and learn how to observe and record wildlife in their own spaces, helping to build confidence and awareness.
The display also rethinks familiar garden elements — such as composting and deadwood — as valuable habitat. Rather than presenting a single model, it encourages an open approach, showing that every garden, regardless of scale or style, can play a part in supporting nature.
